Caros amigos,

Estamos muito tristes em anunciar que o Campeonato Mundial de Vaurien de 2020 foi cancelado.

Esperámos o máximo possível na esperança de que o COVID-19 passasse, mas, finalmente, tivemos que aceitar a triste verdade.

Regatas internacionais de vela não são permitidas em França até (pelo menos) ao final de Julho, e mesmo que assim não fosse, é claro que viajar não iria ser fácil. Portanto, a Associação Internacional de Classe Vaurien (IVCA / CIV) decidiu durante uma reunião web, o adiamento do Campeonato Mundial no Le Havre, França, para 2021.

Dear friends,

we are very sad to announce that the 2020 Vaurien World Championship has been cancelled.
We waited as long as possible in hope that COVID-19 would pass, but finally, we had to accept the sad truth.

International sailing regattas are not allowed in France until (at least) the end of July, and even if not, it is clear that travelling will not be easy. Therefore, the International Vaurien Class Association (IVCA / CIV) decided an a web meeting to postpone the World Championship in Le Havre, France, to 2021.
